Cultural Family Tea Party

On Saturday, 6 May, Marist Brothers Linmeyer, in Johannesburg, hosted a spectacular Cultural Family Tea Party that was enjoyed by all.

Families purchased tables and had to decorate them according to a culture and present tea-party delicacies for the guests to enjoy. The tables were presented beautifully with a wide
variety of delicious treats showcasing the diverse cultures and backgrounds of our community.

We were honoured to welcome guest speaker, Karen Landi, who delivered an inspiring message on a brutal experience and how she overcame it.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the students who hosted tables, the parents who sponsored prizes, the alumni who sponsored the photo booth and
raffles and to the staff who organized the event. Without their generous support, this event would not have been possible.
All of the funds raised from the Cultural Family Tea Party will go towards our annual Youth Day Carnival, that will take place on 15 June at the High School.
