By Marist Brothers Linmeyer
On Friday, 30th September 2022, Marist Brothers Linmeyer students came to school dressed up in wildlife-inspired outfits to help raise money for nature. This was in support of the Wear It Wild (WWF)’s annual fundraising event. Since 1970, populations of wild species have fallen by half. Without the tireless efforts of conservation organisations like WWF, iconic species like rhinos and elephants could become extinct in our lifetimes. "We as Marist Brothers Linmeyer cannot let that happen but rely on the support of our community to bring about a future where both people and nature prosper," said Mrs Tracey Bolland (Primary School IT Teacher). Primary School proceeds went to WWF and High School proceeds went to Brainy Birds (a rescue and rehab centre for abused and abandoned parrots).
