World Robotics Olympiad

The team at Loreto School Queenswood is excited to announce that this year, 13 of their teams advanced to the World Robotics Olympiad South Africa (WRO SA). 

- In the Explorer Category, they secured 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
- In the Explorer Prime Category, they achieved 2nd place.
- In the Robo Mission Elementary Category, they also took 2nd place.

All the teams that placed will advance to the Nationals, scheduled for September in Johannesburg. Congratulations to the Robotics squad and their coach, Helder De Oliveira.

In Coach Helder's words, "Overall, after 7 months of hard work and two holiday breaks spent practicing in the lab, I am super proud of the entire squad. As a team, I am proud of each and every one of them!"
