Religious

St Martin’s has a diverse community and offers an academic environment with Anglican Christian standards. Children of all faiths and religions are welcome. Daily assemblies and weekly celebrations of Eucharist are central to school life. The chaplain spends time with every class during the week and students who wish to do so, may ask to be prepared for confirmation. There is a parents prayer group that meets and prays with the Chaplain weekly.

The Pre-Prep Phase from Grade 000 to 0 offers a happy and cheerful play-based learning environment where children participate in structured play activities to learn and develop a solid foundation to begin the Foundation Phase of School. (Grade 1 to 3). At this early age, the concepts of coding are introduced by children participating in digital learning from Grade 00.

In Grade 1, students enter a more structured learning environment where award-winning programmes are used to develop the essential skills of reading and writing. The Senior Phase introduces puzzle periods for children to develop problem solving as well as creative and strategic thinking skills. Project-based learning is a fun activity that further develops children's skills to reason and think and solve problems beyond the classroom. Grade 7 children learn robotics.

In Grade 8 the students participate in Personalised Learning Programmes that expose them to an education beyond the classroom. The elective subjects available from Grade 10 are Physical Science, Life Science, Business Studies, Accounting, Computer Application Technology and Drama. These elective subjects enable access to tertiary study.
