NURSERY & PRESCHOOL – The Age of Discovery
Broadacres Academy was borne out of a desire to create a place of learning where children could continue to learn naturally without fear and maintain their natural love of learning throughout their school years and beyond. We believe that learning is a journey of exploration, a collaboration between learner and teacher, inspired by curiosity, guided by professional insight and commitment, grounded in community values and focused on the natural development of each child’s potential. As a result, our curriculum focus, educational offer, architecture, landscaping, and playscapes are all designed to complement this philosophy. A walk-through of these areas testifies to the abundance of natural light, wholesome outdoor spaces and teaching which is intentional, directional, and focused on developing each child to their own potential.
Our children are encouraged to play, venture, craft, imagine and build; they are encouraged to find their own inner strengths and learn skills that will set them up for more formalised education in reading, writing and arithmetic.
Our 2024 enrolments are open! We strive to keep our fees at a level that makes our offering more accessible. Join a weekly walkabout of our campuses with our heads – details are on our website.
Our Preschool and Junior Preparatory Campus is located in Broadacres with our Senior Preparatory and High School Campus located in Chartwell – within 3km of each other.

The Broadacres Academy Preschool follows the ISASA guidelines to the Early Childhood Development (ECD) curriculum. This ensures that the correct developmental milestones are reached.
In Grade 000 and 00, we expand on the ECD Curriculum by including modules from the Key to Learning programme.
The Prep School's curriculum is created through an active process in which planning, acting and evaluating are all commonly related and incorporated into the process. It is guided and informed by the Curriculum Assessment Policy Statements (CAPS) .
