Redwood College Gonubie

In 1997 Mr. Bruce Main was given permission by the Eastern Cape Education Department to start a High School in Gonubie. Gonubie Christian High School opened its doors in 1998 to eleven High School learners. This was the start of Christian Education in the town of Gonubie, East London. In 2009, the school grew under the leadership of Principal Mrs. Adele Pfiffner and with the addition of the Primary School was renamed Gonubie Christian School. The school continues to grow as a Christian private school of choice, offering Grades R-12. The individualised system of instruction offered at the school allows for learners to work independently, within a nurturing, disciplined and structured environment. In 2020, GCS transitioned to Redwood College Gonubie, becoming part of the Redwood family of private schools.
