St Benedict's is in every sense a Catholic School and it is the Catholic Faith that is taught throughout. Christian principles and moral values are inculcated not only through Religious Education classes and the R.E. and Liturgical programmes, but also throughout the academic curriculum in the classroom and in the extracurricular life of the school. We believe that the Catholic School's task is fundamentally a synthesis of culture and faith, and a synthesis of faith and life – the first is reached by integrating all the different aspects of human knowledge through all that is taught in the light of the Gospel the second in the growth of the virtues characteristic of the Christian, in prayer, in worship and in relationships with other people. Boys of all faiths are welcome at St Benedict's.
