The Bridge Assisted Learning Schools opened the doors of it’s first school in Lonehill in January 2018, filling a niche demand in education by catering to students who face certain learning barriers and social or emotional challenges. Today we are proud to have two schools, one in Lonehill and the other in Morningside.

The Bridge is an inclusive environment.
We want students at The Bridge to thrive, not just cope. So we constantly evaluate academic progress in a way that is appropriate for the individual, taking into account challenges being faced. Our aim is to help students progress and build on their successes, to ensure they work towards and ultimately realise their highest potential.
Neurodiverse Approach a drawing of a brain with colorful paint splashes around it .
Everyone in the world's brains learn differently. With our increased knowledge of educational development, we see that more people are affected by Neurodevelopmental conditions than ever before. Neurodiversity follows the view that brain differences are normal rather than deficiencies. When following a Neurodiverse approach, students with learning and thinking differences benefit greatly.
Our goal is to ensure that our approach will allow for an individual style, rather than trying to fit the child into another person's style. It is therefore a big part of the educational approach at The Bridge to ensure that we eliminate outdated perceptions around learning and thinking differences.
